Schoepper Ursa
"Alle meine Kunstwerke sind experimentelle Fotokunstwerke; das bedeutet, sie werden alle aus selbstgefertigten Fotografien entwickelt. Das ist das Besondere meiner Arbeit, eine Fotografie als Lichtbild und Datenbild mit all ihren Möglichkeiten zu betrachten. Sie fallen manchmal konstruktiv aus, manchmal malerisch, obwohl diese auch konzeptionell, konstruktiv entwickelt wurden."
Die Künstlerin Ursa Schöpper hat ein Staatsexamen in Naturwissenschaften und begann nach einer Lehrtätigkeit eine neue Hochschulausbildung, das Studium Kulturmanagement mit den Schwerpunkten Bildende Kunst und Neue Medien bei Prof. Dr. Eckart Pankoke, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Krempel, Prof. Dr. Michael Bockemühl. Sie schloss mit einem Hochschulexamen ab.
Es folgten Konzeptionen und Realisierungen verschiedener Projekte im Bereich der kulturellen Bildungssysteme als Kulturmanagerin. Sie erhielt in diesem Zusammenhang den Medienförderpreis Nordrhein-Westfalen für ihr Museum der abwesenden Bilder, eine Konzeption und Realisierung als soziales Netzwerk 2001.
Seit 2003 arbeitet sie als experimentelle Künstlerin im Bereich der experimentellen Fine Art Fotografie und erhielt inzwischen eine Vielzahl an Auszeichnungen.
Die Kunstwerke Ursa Schoeppers befinden sich in interessanten Sammlungen, beispielsweise im Museo Civico Giovanni Fattori ex Granai de Villa Mimbelli and Fortezza Vecchia, Livorno, oder dem Helmholtz Zentrum für Materialien und Energie Berlin, Berlin-Wannsee und Berlin Adlershof.
2023 erschien ihre Monographie "Ursa Schoepper - experimental fine art photography - A metaphor of change" (Autores: Contemporary Art Station (ICM Gestora Cultural, SL)
